The Philippines Manufacturing & Automation Expo (PMAX) 2025 just concluded a high-energy three-day run last December 3–5, 2025, at Hall 1, SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City. Co-located with the Philippines Electronics Manufacturing Expo (EMAX), the show stayed true to its theme, “Enabling Smart Manufacturing Through Digitalization!”, spotlighting robotics, automation, and digital factory solutions across the Philippine manufacturing sector.

From the Facebook recap alone — “from robotics demos to industry innovations — here’s what went down!” — you could already tell the show was hands-on. On the ground, visitors saw working robots, automated lines, and smart machines running in real time, not just in catalogues. 

2. Digitalization and data-driven factories

PMAX 2025 strongly emphasized digitalization: production monitoring, MES, IIoT devices, sensors, and analytics platforms built to turn factories into connected, data-driven operations. The expo stayed aligned with its positioning as a vital platform for global suppliers bringing solutions to the country’s growing industrial needs.

3. Strong electronics and semicon presence with EMAX

With EMAX co-located, PMAX naturally attracted PCB assembly, components, testing, and electronics manufacturing services players. This combined footprint reflects how important electronics and semiconductor supply chains are to the Philippines’ industrial strategy.
